Re: Deer Harvest Records - Now Available on WRD Website

A deer harvest record is required for anyone who hunts deer. Unlike a
hunting license, the Deer Harvest Record is not valid for a 12-month
period-it only is valid for a single deer season.

Until now, the only way for a hunter to get a deer harvest record was by
visiting a license agent or a WRD office. So, this should be a welcome
change for all involved!

Direct hunters who contact your office to the WRD website -
www.gohuntgeorgia.com , select "Hunting" then "Hunting Licenses". On
this page, they will see "Attention! Hunters Must Have Deer Harvest
Record" and by selecting this information they will see a further
explanation on why a new harvest record is required for each deer
season. There is a link within this page (Adobe Acrobat required) that
will allow them to view and then print their 2005-2006 Deer Harvest
Record.
