The GVATA Executive Board met on Friday, April 27 at 3pm in room 305 of the
Edgar Wilson Conference Center in Macon, Ga. The board reviewed numerous
GVATA / NAAE Applications and determined the following applications to be
state winners:
Outstanding Middle/Secondary Program: Temple High School, Chaney Mosley
Ideas Unlimited: Kevin Jump, Bleckley County High School
Turn the Key: Callie Lankford, Putnam County
Outstanding Teacher: Sue Smith, Etowah High School
Outstanding Young Member: Melissa Bottoms, Pike County High School
Each award winner will receive $100 from the GVATA and their application
will be submitted to NAAE for Regional and National consideration.
