Mr. Farmer, fellow ag-teachers,
I receive a great quantity of email from this mailing list and I do try to read most of it, including following the links. I am beginning feel that what we need is a mailing list dedicated to FFA, and also perhaps a blog, or something devoted to things such as: recipes for pig slop, missing tractors with hay picks, extra quail for sale, vocabulary-building websites that give away tiny particles of rice, Stossel in the classroom, etc. Yesterday's email about "lies and damned lies" left me truly perplexed. I read both of the articles - but ended up feeling unsure whether the originator of the email felt the the articles were "lies", or that the states are lying. Or perhaps both. No point of view was expressed in the email - except in the subject line, which seemed somewhat inflamatory.
This seems to be just the stuff for an Georgia Agricultural Educator BLOG. Why not consider setting one up? People could then read it, when they have a moment between classes, and respond in some sort of meaningful forum.
Respectfully, Libby Lintel
