Junior Market Hog Show
The Brantley County FFA is proud to be sponsoring the
third Bi-Annual Satilla Pig Classic. We are working
hard to put together 60 – 80 quality show pigs from
top breeders in our immediate area. Most every litter
is a product of AI and sound selection and breeding
programs.
Some of the results from our first sale in November
2003 include: Grand Champion – Stephens County; Grand
and Reserve – Wayne County; Grand – Bacon County;
Grand and Reserve – Tattnall County; Reserve -
Jefferson City; Res. Division Barrow – Ga. National.
These are just a few of the many good reports we heard
of. Our breeding gilt sale in June proved even more
successful. Our breeders are preparing for another
good June sale as we speak.
County Agents and Ag. Teachers need to mark their
calendars for this one. Also, inform your
members/parents. Print this or contact me via email to
