Dear mapsters,
Any maps appearing in NYPL's CATNYP [our opac, ya know, catnip for the
Lions out front] -- anyway, maps in CATNYP which have been scanned and are
in our Digital Gallery, have a link in the catalog record on screen. Will
try to send thru an example.
OK, natch, all i get are ERROR message today, something wrong in the
system. But you can see we do try to make it obvious to the catalog user
when an image is available. that means that from home you can see these
images, when the system is not down, and you can print out quick-copy
versions. To get finer copies, Pictopia will supply for $$. or contact the
Map Div. directly when there are problems. We have our ways...of getting
the image to you if at all possible.
