The time is fast approaching, Saturday, May 15, 2004 for early
registration for the IFLA World Library Conference in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. Here are some highlights to pique your interest:

Tours #1,2, and 3, are IFLA sponsored tours and should be selected for
the times indicated, so that the G&M Section can tour together.
There is one slot open in the paper session on Tuesday, August 24.
Contact the Chair of the Geography and Map Libraries Section if you
would like to have a paper considered. It must be presented in English,
Spanish, French, German, or Russian, with Spanish and English
translations as needed.
Go to the IFLA website, www.ifla.org <http://www.ifla.org> to download
conference and hotel/excursion forms. The conference form will need to
be faxed by May 15 to receive the early registration. The
hotel/excursion form is not due until
August 5, 2004.
