ICASA (www.icasa.net) will host its Eleventh Open Forum at the
ASA-CSSA-SSSA meetings in New Orleans. If you are attending the
meetings, please join us at:

  Monday, 5 November, 7:30 to 9:00 pm

  Hilton Riverside, Fountain Room, Third Floor

 

Issues we expect to cover include:

- Report on SEAMLESS project in Europe (http://www.seamless-ip.org/)

- Reports from/on active working groups

   - ICASA standards and development of databases for field data

   - Sugar Cane WG

   - Data assimilation

   - Sorghum

   - Gene-based modeling            

 

- Recent and upcoming modeling events: BSSG, European Soc. Agronomy,
2008 DSSAT Course

 

- News of various models and DSS, including upcoming release of DSSAT4.5

 

- Use of ICASA forum at www.icasaforum.net 

 

There is still time to suggest topics (but _please_ don't reply to this
message unless you want the general modeling public to read your mail).
