Have you ever wondered what Florida looked like 20 years ago? Interested
in seeing Orlando before Epcot? Do you need proof a landfill existed
back in 1970?

Take a look back in time with historic aerial photography of Florida.
Aerial photos are pictures taken from an airplane of the land below---a
detailed snapshot from a specific point in time. The University of
Florida Map & Imagery Library has over 100,000 photos of Florida going
all the way back to the 1930s and coverage extending through 1990.

This amazing resource has been made even better with online access
through a user friendly browser. Powered by Google, the Map Search will
easily guide you to your area of interest and quickly bring up the
photos that cover your area through time. You can even download the
images to your own computer! Take a look and find out:

Also new for educators, we have updated the educational modules and
created easy to follow help guides. http://ufdc.ufl.edu/aerials/teachers

If for some reason you can't find what you’re looking for, call

Library. We are always happy to help. Feedback on the resource is
welcome and appreciated!
