Dear all
applying the latest version of DSSAT is totally agreeable. It would be
interesting to know to what extent the internal model structure of
version 4 differs from 3.5 and how the recent release of GENCALC was
adapted to this new model configuration. Are there new publications
available on this topic?
Cheers,
Matthias
Dear Alok,
DSSAT 3.5 had been on the market for at least a decade, if I am not
mistaken.
Don't you think that it would be worthwhile upgrading to version 4?
The latest version has an up-to-date GUI (with windows, clickable and
stuff...), and includes also a number of changes, additions and
bug-fixes (including the W2K bug - I guess version 4 never had this
problem).
You might also think in terms of publishing simulation results.
I doubt that all editors or article-reviewers would still accept
DSSAT-3.5 simulation results.
Best regards,
Rolf
