Summer School on Climate Change and Agriculture
14 ~ 18 September 2009
Sardinia - Italy - Alghero

Objectives:
The aim of the Summer School is to give our doctoral students a wide view of
climate change impacts on agriculture, focusing on the most important models
and tools. Agriculture is one of the main sectors affected by climate change
and there are still uncertainties as to how the combined effects of climatic
variables (CO2 temperature, and precipitation) affect crop growth and yield.
Issues relating to adaptation and mitigation strategies for climate change
will also be discussed.

PARTICIPATION (ADMISSION)
Participants are required to have an adequate knowledge of English.
The number of participants is limited to 35 (20 students from  the Doctoral
School Changes and 15 other  participants)

DEADLINE
The deadline for requesting participation is August 14th 2009.

REQUESTS FOR PARTICIPATION
The registration fee  is 400 euros for non-Doctoral School Changes
participants.
The method of payment will be specified later.
Participants should send the application form, a letter of interest and a

ORGANIZATION OF LECTURES
The School will consist of group lectures and/or laboratories.
The working language will be English.
