Hi,

  Shorebirds are more commom during the fall than during the spring migration in Martinique.

  The list of shorebirds that i observed (Mars to May 2006):
  - Semipalmated Sandpiper: 2
  - Least Sandpiper: 4
  - Semipalmated Plover: average 80 (one group of 50 individuals)
  - Solitary Sandpiper: 4
  - Buff-breasted Sandpiper: 1 (present the 12 to the 15 may)
  - Spotted Sandpiper: average 50 (in roost)

  One friend have already observed (Mars to May 2006):
  - Sanderling: average 70 (one group of 60 individuals)
  - Least Sandpiper: average 15 (one group of 10 individuals)
  - Semipalmated Plover: Average 100
  - Short-billed Dowitcher: 1
