The north edge ofTokyo Bay (140º  E, 35º 40' N):  Funabashi Keihin Koen and
Yatsuhigata mudflats.



An unfortunate anniversary today, but I did go birding.  The field is a
quiet place to commemorate such an atrocity.  It is later in migration, and
we saw a few different species, if not so many, but nothing extraordinary
for this place and time:
