For those of you who catalog maps on OCLC, you may already know this,
but I just discovered something that I wish I had learned a long time ago …
When you derive records, you can set the fields that you use often (like
the 007, 034, 043, and 052) so that they will transfer to the new
record. Just go to Tools>Options>Derive
What a time saver, especially when dealing with the latitude and
longitude subfields in the 034!
