Heavy rains in western North-central Texas have flooded numerous fields in the region. Brian Gibbons, Greg Cook, and I observed 121 species on Saturday in Wichita, Baylor, Throckmorton, and Archer counties. 13 of these were shorebird species.

American Golden-Plover - 3
Black-bellied Plover - 15+
Killdeer - 1000+
Least Sandpiper - 400+
Western Sandpiper - 5+
Dunlin - 1
Lesser Yellowlegs - 100+
Greater Yellowlegs - 100+
American Avocet - 4
Long-billed Dowitcher - 400+
Stilt Sandpiper - 30+
Pectoral Sandpiper - 20+
Wilson's Snipe - 30+
