For those who like to follow shorebird migration in locations other
than their own one of the big shorebird migration sites near Tokyo has
a good webpage that is updated daily with regards to what is passing
through. I have visited this location many, many times while on
business trips to Japan and have seen some great birds there. It is
located just off a train route from Tokyo to the international airport
at Narita so it is a great site to visit while entering or leaving the
country.

The site is Yatsu Higata and their English web pages are as follows.
If you root around they have historical data for the past few years.
