Perhaps we should show these as part of military survival training?
I understand the current version of the downed pilot's survival map is made on plasticized paper. In addition to being a map you can:
- shelter under it to stay dry
- use it as a plastic sac to carry water
- wrap hunks of bloody meat (left over from the dinner you killed) to carry as trail snacks.
