The Journal of Maps is pleased to announce the publications of TWO
issues so far in 2008. The Table of Contents is provided below with the
full text freely accessible at the Journal of Maps website
(http://www.journalofmaps.com).

Please remember that our content is mirrored at two further locations so
that it is archived in perpetuity:

1. MirrorService.Org:
http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.journalofmaps.com/

2. British Library: http://www.webarchive.org.uk/tep/17331.html

Of upcoming interest, and currently in review, are several special
issues. These are:

1. Call for papers on geomorphological mapping by the Applied
Geomorphological Working Group of the International Association of
Geomorphologists (IAG)

2. Papers resulting from QRA 2008 Annual Discussion Meeting "Quaternary
of the British Isles and adjoining seas"

3. Papers resulting from the IAG regional meeting "Environmental
Analysis and Geomorphological Mapping for a Sustainable Development"

4. Journal of Maps Student Edition: Papers resulting from the Annual
Student Meeting of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society

5. Call for papers on Transport Networks (part published with this
issue)

The latest issue also highlights some of the technical flexibility that
the Journal of Maps is able to leverage. Fredin, O. and Burki, V.
contain data collected that resulted in the map presented, whilst
Orenstein, P. and Wright, W., Liu, Y. and Jarrett, D., Wilson, J. et al
and Stathopoulos, A. and Tsekeris, T. all form part of the issue on
transport networks. The remaining papers will be published, with the
editorial in the next issue.
