I thought this might be of interest. It's a short piece about a
technique for dating maps and other 'antique' works on paper.

There is an error (or a sort) in the article, however, where it cites
the scientific publication. While his work was published online/ /in
June 2006, it appears in the December 2006 print/official issue of the
Proceedings of the Royal Society (details below). Just another example
of how electronic editions can complicate things!
