We use filing cabinet locking bars. They come in different sizes. See

Part of our map collection will be relocated in a new space which can
not be locked. However, we are planning to lock our drawers. I am
looking for a photo that shows how the map drawers were locked. Anyone
willing to share a photo of their map drawer which is locked? I am
planning to show this to our lock smith to build a lock for our map drawers.
