Having to head to Edgewater today, I took the scenic route on both my north
and south trip along Shiloh Marsh Road. The shorebird action is increasing
quite a bit. Most of it is in between the Weather Tower road and Shiloh 3,
which are the two barricaded roads north of Patillo Creek Road entrance.
Weather Tower being the southernmost and, of course, being the easiest landmark
with a thin tall weather tower ;-),
Scattered individual Yellowlegs (both) and at least 3 separate flocks of 50
or more birds, one flock consisting of at least 100 or so.
Only a few Stilt Sandpipers (4) mixed with Yellowlegs and a couple of FOS
(for me) Dunlin.
About 1/2 mile south of Shiloh 3 was the bigger flock, consisting of
mostly Least 'pipers with a good % of Westerns and a few Semipalmated Sandpipers
along with 3 or 4 Dunlin.

See you out there!
