Hi Angie;
A few weeks ago there was a bit of discussion on cartographic quilts
and the quilt mentioned below came up. Here is an update from the
quilter, along with a .pdf flyer they send out. I suspect you don't
allow attachments, so people can contact me and I'll send them the pdf.

During the WAML convention at Fairbanks/Denali in 2005, one of the
research scientists at Denali displayed a Denali land-cover quilt
that she was working on. An update from Dr. Lucy Tyrrell, the
quilter, is that:
"The quilt was finished some years ago now. There is nowhere to be
found (yet) that would provide a large enough space to display
it. The quilt is available for temporary loan and display in
suitable situations."
A .pdf is available that describes the quilt and the border blocks -
e-mail me off-list and I'll send you the .pdf.
