Greetings - there were photographs taken last weekend of a Curlew Sandpiper feeding with Dunlins on the Bird Islands, sandbars in the middle of Nassau Sound, at the northern end of Big Talbott Island State Park, on the NE coast of Florida.  On Monday, we chased but did not find the CUSA, but did see the following species:

American Oystercatcher - 4 (1 on nest)
Black-bellied Plover - 10+
Semipalmated Plover - 30+
Wilson's Plover - 10+ (some breeders)
Whimbrel - 7
Willet - 10+ (some breeders)
Greater Yellowlegs - 4
Lesser Yellowlegs -3
Red Knot - 10+
Dunlin - 200+
Short-billed Dowitcher - 20
White-rumped Sandpiper - 1
Sanderling - 300+
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 100+
Least Sandpiper - 10+

Also, at Huguenot Park, on the north side of the mouth of the St. Johns River near Jacksonville, were two flocks containing a total of approx 800 Red Knots.
