*Vanderbilt University, GIS Day 2010*
The Vanderbilt Library's Geographic Information Systems service is
hosting its third annual GIS Day seminar on Wednesday, November 17 in
the Peabody Library Learning Commons (room 304) from 12:30-2 pm.
Vanderbilt faculty and staff from various disciplines, as well as the
Metro Nashville GIS manager will speak about how they use GIS. Light
refreshments will be served.
This year’s GIS Day will also include an ‘Intro to GIS’ training session
from 10:30-11:30 am in the same location during which participants will
get hands-on instruction on creating a map in ArcGIS 9.3. More
information, including a printable flier and a schedule of speakers, is
