Hello.

I have a number of National Geographic Magazine maps of the Philippines,
Africa, etc. that state they are reprints, but I am having trouble
identifying when they may have been reprinted. The original maps date
from 1899 to 1905 and state that they are supplements to the National
Geographic Magazine. I have been able to find copy for one map (OCLC
#49235832) with a suggested reprint date, but no copy for the other
reprinted maps. I was wondering if anyone on the list has seen these
types of maps and has an idea of when they were reprinted. The one map
with copy guesses the 1970s. I’m looking for a little more information
before I create new records in OCLC for these reprinted maps.

The maps:

1.Map of the Philippines prepared by reduction from the map of the
Bureau of Insular Affairs, War Department. “Published as a supplement
to the National Geographic Magazine, Washington, D.C., for Aug. 1905”
“Reprint”

2.Progress map of Signal Corps telegraph lines and cables in the
military division of the Philippines / prepared under the direction of
Brigadier General A. W. Greely. “Supplement to the National Geographic
Magazine, January, 1902” “Reprint”

3.Theatre of military operations in Luzon, 1899 / War Department,
Adjutant General’s Office, Military Information Division. “Nat. Geog.
Mag. Vol. X, 1899, PL. 5” “Reprint”

4.Map of the seat of war in Africa / prepared in the War Department,
Adjutant General’s Office, Military Information Division, 1899.
“Supplement to the National Geographic Magazine, December, 1899” “Reprint”

5.Kirin, Harbin, Vladivostok / Second Division, General Staff, (Military
Information Division), Washington, April 1905. “Published as a
supplement to the National Geographic Magazine, Washington, D.C. for
June 1905” “Reprint”

Thank you!
