I received the following question regarding Sanborn Maps, and don't have
an answer, so Ms. Miller said it would be fine to send her question to
the maps-l community. Please respond either directly to her or back to
the list.
Thanks,

Good afternoon - I am doing some research using Sanborn maps here in
Rock Hill, SC, and am coming across the street name of Beaupel Place in
several different locations. When I found this, I began research to see
if this was a general term used for unnamed areas of residential
concentrations in a specific area and found that this term was used on a
number of Sanborn maps throughout the US. Do you have any information
about the use of this term?
Regards,
Janice Miller
