The Freycinet Map of 1811
The 200th Anniversary of the Publication of the First Map of Australia
Presented by the Australia on the Map Division of the Australasian

This year marks the bicentenary of the publication of the first map of

Voyage to Terra Australia".
This symposium is one of the highlights of the anniversary commemorations.
Notable speakers include Emeritus Professor Margaret Sankey, Rupert
Gerritsen, Professor Jean Fornasiero, Associate Professor John
West-Sooby and Henry de Freycinet.
