I just joined this listserve and did a quick search of the archives to see
if anyone had posted a First-of-Season (FOS) sighting for Pacific
Golden-Plover yet. I did not see any postings so I thought I'd add one.
Yesterday at the Modesto (California) Sewage Ponds
(http://www.stanislausbirds.org/Sites/STA/modesto_sewage_ponds.htm) I
photographed a PAGP in with about 300 Black-bellied Plovers. I am interested
if they (PAGP) had been seen anywhere else south of their breeding grounds
yet. Photo at http://www.stanislausbirds.org/Photos/index.htm
