Subject: Looking for USGS Topo Map with Editing Error


Hello assembled map people,

A long time ago I saw a USGS topographic map (probably 1:24k) with an
error in
the editing statement at the bottom of the map ("Mapped, edited, and
published
by the Geological Society" - or similar statement).

If I recall, the error was in the spelling of "edited."

I thought I had a slide of it, but don't.  If I had to guess, I saw it
in one
of David Woodward's cartography courses at UW Madison.

I am hoping someone recalls this USGS map & its date.
