Subject: UTM Grid maps

I have a mandate to reduce the size of our map collection so I will be
bugging you folks with a lot of questions.
Right now I am looking at three drawers full of maps from circa 1956
that are part of the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid, 1:500,000.
There are over one hundred but not a complete set.
Are these important today?
Thanks,
Rob
