Subject: Help finding shapefiles

Hi:
I’m working with a student who is looking for the following shapefiles:
American Indian language boundaries (Canada, US, and Mexico)
Territorial map (pre-1803) of North America
American Indian reserves in Mexico
I’ve already talked to him about the language boundaries and how fluid
they are. I’ve also suggested that he talk to a researcher in
Anthropology about his project.
Thanks for any suggestions on sources!
