Hi all,
Has anyone figured out how much a medium-sized map case weighs when it is
empty and when it has a "normal" amount of maps in it?
We are have an analysis done of the weight bearing capacity of our map room
floor and I have been asked for these ballpark numbers. Thought I'd ask
before trying to heft one of the cases onto a scale.... ;-)
The size of the 5 drawer map cases are: 17" high x 41" deep x 53" wide.
Also, if you have an idea of how much maps weigh on average, that would be
helpful, too. Say, 50 maps weigh 10 pounds.
Thank you!
Julie
