The Registration for the FASEB Summer research conference on “Ciliate Molecular Biology” (July 19-
24, 2009) is now open.  The deadline for pre-registration (at the reduced rate) is the end of May.

Attention Undergraduate Mentors: In addition to the regular poster and platform sessions, we have
scheduled an afternoon session for platform presentations from undergraduate ciliate researchers.
We encourage your undergraduate students to attend the conference and consider presenting in this
session, as well as the normal poster session.  Students should submit their abstracts through the
normal FASEB website.  To help us identify those students interested in presenting at this mini-
symposium, after submitting an abstract, the student should send an email to Dr. Emily Wiley
([log in to unmask]), indicating their desire to be considered for this session.
