Might I also suggest that in the Address Tag Line that perhaps a qualifier
as to general location within a state of the city of the reporter be
included.  Nothing fancy, and not needed perhaps for Tucson or Dallas, but
useful for smaller towns where we would have to dig out the Atlas to see
where these smaller towns are located.  This is perhaps not that important
for State Bird Lists, but as this list is hoping for National/International
distribution, then perhaps useful.

Hello Shorebirders,

As a follow-up to Bob Wallace's comments about the listserv format, maybe we
should get in the habit of putting the location information in the subject
line of our posts.  There are posters from everywhere putting up great info,
and it would be great to know where we are talking about right away.  Also,
maybe a date is a useful item to include where appropriate.  I noticed the
potential benefit of this while searching the archive list.  A suggestion of
a heading might be:

"VA Upland Sandpipers - 7/31/05", or
"GA hotspots RFI"

What do others think?
