I am interesed to know if (and where) I can find
maps for Europe and European countries digitized
and working at a good scale and in a unitary projection.
We are in charge to develop an European hydrological database
and applications are supposed to deal "continously" with Europe,
countries and hydrological basins ; that is the reason why we need
a unitary cartographic view.
Concerning digitised maps we are interesed in :
- european boudaries
- european countries
- european hydrographic network
- ipsohypse (I think that is the terme for elevation curves)
