International Student Life Events

1. New students are coming to campus and looking for a place to live.
The ISL Office now has two new Housing Bulletin Boards for students to
use.  One board is for persons searching for a place to live.  The other
is for persons looking for roommates or who have housing for rent.

2.  Congratulations to Saehee on receiving the Lee Anne Sewell Award for
outstanding service in Student Affairs.  The Division of Student Affairs
honors persons for excellence once a year and this year, due to an
overwhelming number of letters from international students, Saehee  was
recognized for her dedication.

Student Organization Announcements

1.  The ISL Office is proud to announce the creation of the Central
Asian Organization.  The President is Ruslan Sharipov and his e-mail

from Central Asia, he would like you to inform them of this new group.

2. The ASU has a new president, Odufa Ojior his email address is
[log in to unmask]  We congratulate him on his new position and look
forward to working with him the rest of the year.

Updates

1.  Due to an increased number of phone calls, Council Travel has
announced a new public line for their Athens office.  The new number is
(706) 543-9600.
