Western Washington University Libraries

Western Washington University Libraries seeks an innovative, forward-looking librarian who will build and promote the Institutional Repository (IR), as well as further scholarly communication as a strategic priority for Western Libraries.  Reporting to the Director of Scholarly Resources and Collection Services, this is a 12 month, tenure track faculty appointment.

The Scholarly Communications Librarian has responsibility for developing and implementing the Libraries' scholarly communications programs and initiatives.  This person will manage the daily operations of the IR as well as create and update IR policies on campus, and will develop education and outreach related to all scholarly communication on campus. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in scholarly communications and copyright issues.
