International Student Life Events and Announcements:

1.  The International Student Life Office would like to thank all of the
2003 Graduates for all of the hard work and support of the International
Student Life Office during your studies here at UGA.  We wish you well
and hope that all of your future plans and desires will be fulfilled.
Special thanks to many of you who made tremendous sacrifices to
volunteer with ISL this academic year even though you were carrying a
heavy course load, and the extra work involved in preparing to
graduate.  Your sacrifice made a difference in many lives. We look
forward to seeing all of you who have signed up to participate in ISL
Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. in the Memorial
Hall Ballroom.

2. The last Coffee Hour of the academic year was held last Friday, April
25, 2003, in the Memorial Hall Ballroom.  We look forward to new and
exciting Coffee Hours in the Fall semester 2003.  ISL would like to
thank all the student organizations, departments and community
organizations that were willing to share their time, culture and
traditions each week to give many people for their first chance to
travel outside of United States and view other world cultures.  Thank
you!

3.  For those of you who will not be going on adventurous excursions
cross-country or exciting places around the world, don't despair.  The
International Student Life Office will have various leisure activities
and events planned to enhance your summer as well.  Keep checking your
listserv for important messages and details this summer!

4.  ISL will be taking advantage of Maymester to organize summer
programs for students at UGA.  We will make special announcements
through the listserv during May, and will be resuming weekly listserv
announcements in June 2003.

5.  Good luck with your final exams and the last week of class.  If you
are leaving the States, we would love you to stop by to tell us good-bye
before you leave.  Take care and safe travels!

1.  Join the Athens Community as they celebrate the 25th Human Rights
Festival in downtown Athens, College Avenue this weekend,  May 3-4.  A
variety of speakers, bands, and activities are planned for both days.
