Subject: Re: [BRDBRAIN] Florida Shorebird Big Day - 25 species

We did it the middle of August and there was a Buff seen earlier in the week. the Snipe was great. The burned and flooded sugarfields around Belle Glade were just loaded with birds, very hard to see with the burned stubble standing 4-6" in the water. Our eyes were really strained. Also alot of areas were closed to public traffic.

Rocky - that is great, and I think the record! I agree that a Ft D to Belle
Glade route would get all of the species possible, and if you had luck for
things like Buff-breast, Upland and Phalarope, then 30 is certainly
possible. What time of year did you do it? May?
