We are pleased to say our January 2013 issue of 'Cairt, the newsletter
of the Scottish Maps Forum' has been sent out, and is available online
at: http://www.nls.uk/media/1056966/cairt22.pdf (1.8Mb PDF; 8 pages).
In our excitement to share news, attentive lis-maps readers may have
noticed some of these news items already, for which we apologise... but
here you have the chance to enjoy them again with pictures! There are
also a few genuinely "new" news pieces...
Highlights of this issue:
* Bartholomew Archive exhibition (
http://www.nls.uk/exhibitions/bartholomew )
* New Map Images website ( http://maps.nls.uk )
* New website additions and digitisation projects (
http://maps.nls.uk/additions.html )
* Bartholomew Survey Atlas facsimile and competition to win a free
Survey Atlas
* Ordnance Survey map series cataloguing project
* Westmorland man - Ordnance Survey map graffiti
* Recent acquisition - minchiate maps from 1779
* Mapping the Nation workshop
This and earlier issues of Cairt can also be read at:

Many thanks,
Chris
