The South African Sugar Association Experiment Station currently has a
senior vacancy in the Agronomy Department. Visit our website at

Position: SYSTEMS MODELLER

As the Systems Modeller you will develop and apply crop models to
support sugarcane agronomy research and decision making.  You will
maintain a high research profile internationally and transfer technology
to the local industry. Ideally you will have a Ph.D. in Science or
Agriculture and a proven track record in systems research.  You should
have computer programming and data processing experience and excellent
written and verbal communication skills.

Closing date for applications:  2 February 2003
