>Announcement of START/PACOM Global Change Fellowship Awards for

>The International START Secretariat and the Pan African START
>Secretariat (PASS) wish to announce opportunities for outstanding
>African scientists undertaking global environmental change research
>leading to doctoral dissertation. Awards will be granted for up to
>two years of study leading to completion of Ph.D. dissertation or for
>the final year of graduate study and one-year of post-doctoral
>research. Priority will be given to proposals on topics focusing on
>environmental change and water resources or environmental change and
>land-use, terrestrial ecosystems in Africa. (Subsequent calls may
