Subject: EPA's EJ View

Hello,
I just finished reviewing the Environmental Protection Agency's EJ View
system (http://www.epa.gov/environmentaljustice/mapping.html) for Choice
(I recommended that it be reviewed in the first place). I highly
recommend it as an essential site for all users.
It is an interactive mapping system that can be used to display EPA,
Census & Health data together. It is easier to use than the mapping
system in FactFinder 2 (even the new FactFinder 2), and data is
normalized, which means that instead of mapping raw numbers, it is
displaying population density and percent of people in a given class. It
will be useful for those beginning classes that might want to explore
data without having to learn GIS.
