Dear Herb, I agree with you that blatant advertising is wrong , but a mear blerp or a commerial addy in a signature shouldn't
be a point of contection . After all , the net is the land of the free (as long as we pay our internet connection fees

|I am relatively new to the list, but I have been very surprised at the amount
|of commercial messaging that takes place on Conch-L, subtle and not so
|subtle. The, I think, second and third messages following yours are sad
|examples of what should not be happening here. Perhaps it is time for the
|dealers, etc., to set up their own list where Conch-L members could go
|voluntarily to seek out their commercial information.
