No no, We spend about 10-14 days there each May, they were not live either,
there is a live shelling restriction on Sanibel. The Three was three years
apart between the times I found them. One was just partly staicking out of
the sand, and the smaller one I found by dragging my shell scoop on the
bottom in about 11/2 fet of water.............................my
answer.................luck shells are where you find them! Happy Shelling
