Dear Paul,
yes Nassa is a Muricid. Nassarius is in the family
Buccinidae. The Europeans use Nassarius as genus,
particolary the Italians, but maybe all. Lindner
has the family Nassariidae in his work
Muscheln und Schnecken der Weltmeere.
More on this book later.
with best shelling greetings.
