Hello Linda and all conch-lers;
In regards to Latin roots; please visit my Internet Resources site (on Man
and Molluscs) and on the Glossary page (
http://www.manandmollusc.net/links_glossaries.html ) you will find a great
site on Greek and Latin roots by the University of Alberta (from: Bailey,
B. 1999. Bull. Malacol. Soc. Lond. 32:6-7). I hope this helps.
All the best,
