I received "the virus" that was unknowingly sent to me by Alan Gettleman,
which I, unknowingly passed on to the list. This was about a week ago, and
it's just been fixed today?
Does anyone know how this could happen to the conch list? Could it have been
someone on the list or could it have inadvertenly been passed on some other
way? I promise I'm too computer illiterate to do anything like this and I
apologize to anyone who it could have affected. Not only did I get the
virus, but a transformer blew about a half mile from our house, and even with
a surge protector, it ruined my modem. My computer person said it could have
been caused by the virus. The whole thing cost me $100 to get it completely
fixed, and I certainly hope it wasn't caused by anyone on the list.
It's nice to be up and running again.
