One of Hawaiiam Malacological Society's members who was noted for her
photography of moluscan animals and their shells recently died. Her
appreciable collection of slides in looseleaf notebooks with plastic
slide holders is going to be given to he HMS, an IRS recognized
educational organization. The family would like us to advise of an
evaluation of the slide collection for tax purposes.
Does any CONCH-L member have any experience in evaluating slides? These
slides are of good quality as the photographer is widely noted for her
photography. No rejects are includes in the collection.
The slides will be scanned and the graphics put on CD along with other
graphics in IHSN files and made available to museums in a year or two.
Thanks in advance for any advice. Others in CONCH-L may be interested
but you can also reply to [log in to unmask]
