There must be 1500 or so species of Turridae in the
Philippines - i've seen over 350 without really
trying! The problem isn't finding them, its
identifying them. Is there anyone ot there in
Conchlville who has a special interest in Turrids from
this species-rich country, and who could help identify
some of the beasties (especially the little guys,
which seem to be more multitudinous than the bigger
fellows)?? I hope to have some decent photos of them
available soon, perhaps on their own site, which they
most certainly deserve!
From the land of turned-on multicolored leaves
preparing to tune in and drop off,
Ross M.
