I wouldn't mind a look.
Please note that dorsal is the surface along the length of such a
shell, when aperture is facing downward as in crawling position. The
surface between the periphery and suture is the "dorsal" or adapical
slope or shoulder. The abapical surface, below the periphery and down
to the canal, is called the base. This has nothing to do with the
position of the shell in life; a trochid shell has a totally
different life orientation, but the parts are called the same anyway,
of course (base etc).
